Initiatives

At Iwasaki, we have introduced a unique system known as “Worker Certification System”.
This system ensures that technologies are not individualized, but become standard throughout the organization. It also guarantees that high levels of technological and product quality are realized.
We have also been aggressively pursuing “ISO9001:2015” certification, the international standard for quality control, as well as certification for the “Wiring Harness Traceability Program” stipulated by UL Solutions.
We aim to further improve quality and customer satisfaction levels with our continuous initiatives here at Iwasaki, as well as through our external initiatives such as obtaining certification from third party organizations.

Worker Certification System

We have adopted our own Worker Certification System for the four microsoldering technologies of “terminal crimping”, “screw tightening”, “soldering”, and “inspection”, which is implemented under the supervision of external certification bodies. The system consists of basic learning, workshops, written examinations, and proficiency tests, and certificates are awarded to those who complete courses for each technology.
This system ensures that technologies are not individualized, and guarantees high levels of technological and product quality.

Certificates

ISO 9001 Certification

In December 2004, Iwasaki obtained certification for “ISO9001”, the international quality management system standard stipulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
We were evaluated on quality control for connector harness manufacture, and were recognized for our corporate stance on aiming to “improve customer satisfaction”.
We have maintained this certification up to this day, and aim to further improve quality and customer satisfaction levels.
